Alongside her production talents, Rebecca has carved a name for herself as a respected Creative and Story Producer who can conceive and develop groundbreaking, original content. Rebecca is an industry lead in casting “real people” for branded content and television. She has gained access to contributors within delicate institutions such as hospitals, the criminal justice system and is highly skilled in sourcing unique human interest stories. She is also fluent in working with presenters and developing narratives for factual entertainment programming in addition to casting actors in the traditional method for scripted dramas. Her experience ranges from story producing for the likes of Richard Hammond and Jon Richardson, to discovering new acting talent such as casting Greg Austin (Mr Selfridge / Class), to securing established A-List talent for live action drama such as Joanna Lumley, Aidan Gillen and Fares Fares.

The cream of British acting talent team up for Stand Up To Cancer’s TV and Cinema 2019 Campaign. I developed and conceived the creative for the film, which featured various stars channelling the relentless, unforgiving and unpredictable behaviours of cancer to complete unique fundraising challenges in the name of life-saving research.

SCREWFIX DEDICATED CUSTOMERS - SKY SPORTS FOOTBALL IDENTS

Real Screwfix customers rose to the challenge of acting in comedic sketches in these street cast films. The brand played with the idea that their customers passion for football is almost as big as their passion for Screwfix. I was the Casting Director for this challenging but fun filled brief and was delighted with the results from our cast, who ranged from plumbers and electricians to footballers and DIYers!

WE ARE THE NHS - NHS NURSES RECRUITMENT

70th Anniversary commercial for the NHS, celebrating all its staff and patients - in particular, the unsung heroes of the medical profession: nurses. The campaign, running across TV, cinema and social is the organisation's biggest ever recruitment drive for nurses. As Casting and Field Producer my role was to facilitate the access on the ground with the various NHS hospitals and services, in addition to gaining approvals to film the real nurse and patient scenarios seen in the film.

LIFE AND BREAST CANCER IN THE WORDS OF WOMEN WHO KNOW - M&S and BCN

In aid of Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2017, seven women who are all affected by breast cancer share their stories and experiences to help M&S raise money for Breast Cancer Now (BCN) and aid lifesaving research. The scripted words delivered by the women were taken from their own casting tapes which were conducted by Rebecca. Their words were carefully selected with the women's approval as the lines they would repeat for the advert, which accompanied some lovely 'unscripted' dialogue from the women, "in the moment" when on set.

The online video was also accompanied by an extensive Print campaign, featuring all seven women looking absolutely fantastic. My role was casting director and story producer.

LIVE INSYNC - ACTIVIA

Global TV commercial and print campaign to align with Activia’s rebrand. Featuring non-actors from various professions, it is a celebration of the feminine spirit in the work place. The film encapsulates the moment one feels in perfect “sync” – when your lifestyle is balanced enough to be able to focus on the job in hand and deliver with grace, strength and flair! My role was Casting Director.

DOC: YOU'RE ONLY AS OLD AS YOU MOVE - VOLTAREN

Behind the scenes look at the ballroom dancers, Marian and Anthony who featured in the main advert. The piece profiles our stars and the challenges they faced, from rehearsals in the dance studio to shooting on set and sharing the final piece with their family.

EPIC - AMERICAN EXPRESS

A unique short film celebrating the live music experience... purely from the perspective of members of the audience. Made possible thanks to funding from American Express as part of the brand’s championing of live music, the film premiered at a gala screening at the legendary Abbey Road Studios alongside a special screening on Film4, which was reviewed by The Independent as "awe-inspiring". My role was Casting Director and Story Producer.

100 DAYS OF DARK - FORD

A dark and brooding campaign for the Ford Ranger "Black" edition. The film centres around three drivers on the Island of Svalbard, which is situated just below the North Pole. The film shows just how dark and tough life can be in the Arctic Circle during the long Polar Night. For over 100 days straight they live and work in total darkness, at temperatures that regularly dip way below -20º . The Island is not a place for everyone. Nor every car. I was casting director and story producer for this content.

WORLDS APART - HEINEKEN

Unscripted and filmed under strict documentary conditions, this real-life social experiment touched a nerve with audiences worldwide. With over 18 million organic views in less than two weeks; the film brought together two complete strangers who were divided by their beliefs and sparked a global conversation. Fast Co and many others called it “the antidote to the Pepsi Kendall Jenner ad”. The content generated extensive media coverage everywhere from The Washington Post, Good Morning America, to Time and The Guardian. The piece also exploded on Twitter thanks to the likes of Sarah Silverman sharing the "brilliant" film. My role was Casting Director and Story Producer.

DANCING THROUGH LIFE - VOLTAREN

Short film for Voltaren/Voltarol, an ibruprofen gel from GSK. The film set out to demonstrate for real the brand’s tagline of ‘You’re Only As Old as You Move’ by casting a genuine couple, over the age of 70 to star in a physically demanding shadow play dance. For the film, Rebecca found the amazing Marion and Digger, a married couple of 50 years. The client requested a pairing of amateur dancers that had never before danced professionally or on camera. These two fitted the brief and surpassed all our expectations, rising to the challenge spectacularly.

WIMBLEWATCH - EVIAN

Rebecca cast the first series of wimblewatch. A series that featured celebrity pairings and members of the public watching and commenting on the highlights of the day at Wimbledon. Each episode featured a different cast, who provided amusing commentary on the most gripping on- and off-court drama of the day.

Directed by Kevin Macdonald and produced by Scott Free Films and Ridley Scott Associates, this fascinating collection of home-video clips offers a rare insight into how families up and down the country celebrate Christmas. Short edits were created for the brand's 2013 TV Christmas commercials. the feature length was released on youtube on Christmas Day 2013 and then broadcast on Channel 4 on Christmas Day 2014. I was part of the wonderful casting team.

Sean Lock and Jon Richardson head to Louisiana to live with Creole cowboys and Cajun swamp men, who wrestle 'gators and castrate bulls with their bare hands. The Guardian selected the two episodes as part of their "TV Highlights". My role was Casting Producer.
